Spring Lamb, Wildflowers and Outdoor Church

On a hot and humid spring day in Florida, between thunderstorms, magic happened...

Spring 2021 on the farm was a bumper crop of lambs...and 2 very special little boys needed to be bottle raised....So when you add very sweet and gentle kids to the mix and a field full of wild flowers, a once in a lifetime (never to be repeated) photo session happened.

I normal do not do photo sessions using live stock, children and animals are unpredictable. Plus these kind of session can be very stressful for the animals...But since Butter Bean the lamb is a bottle raised baby, he is very used to being handled and loved on by children well known at our farm.

With a super wet spring, the white wildflowers in the side field put on a lovely show and created the perfect location for our "Outdoor Church"

What better place to create memories, and thank the Lord for an abundance of blessings.

Psalms 23:1 - 6

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
